Joyce Wheaton Lander has been working as a licensed architect in Texas since 1982. She began her career in the realm of corporate workplace strategies and design, first for a large international firm, CRS, as an architectural programmer, then for PDR Corporation as a programmer, designer, and project manager.

She has taught undergraduate and graduate design studios at the University of Houston, emphasizing rational approach to the process of design.

In the mid 1990’s, Joyce began working on residential architecture projects; remodeling, additions, and new homes. Since that time, she has worked with many families to adapt, transform, and create new spaces for living.
